Who is Bayside Driving?

I’m a motorcyclist, amateur beer brewer and an independent fully qualified DVSA approved driving instructor. I’m also a qualified mechanical and production engineer, a career I spent thirty plus years in until COVID hit.

Since then I have trained and become qualified as an ADI spending three and a half years with a local driving school before going independent at the beginning of 2025 under the name of Bayside Driving based in Herne Bay.

I’m DBS checked regularly. I currently teach in a manual gearbox car. I do not teach pupils to just pass a test, I teach how to drive and maintain a car, hence I have a very good pass rate. Please see the review page to see a few of my satisfied customers since becoming independent.

New beginners or full licence holder refresher lessons, motorway lessons, mock tests, parking and roadcraft. Bayside Driving does it all in the Herne Bay, Canterbury, Faversham and Whitstable areas.
